Ignition electrodes used for the ignition and temperature control in gas or fuel combustion equipment, work on the principle of ignition by high voltage flashover.
FKK Corporation ignition electrodes, flame sensor rods and assemblies come in over infinite configurations. If your application requires an electrode and temperature control plug, we have a design that will fit your needs. Our high quality components are designed using deep knowledge of forming and assembly equipment. We accurately and efficiently produce high quality (made in Japan) electrodes that deliver the best thermal and electrical properties.
Produced by implementing unique metallization and ceramic lamination, the process allows production of complex shape. The main material used in the insulator is high alumina (95%). The characteristic of this material are high mechanical strength and resistance to thermal shock and electrical load.
The more Japanese ignition electrodes and flame sensor rods are hight resistant to humidity (sealed) and can be placed in very humid using environment systems.

Electrode assembliesElectrode assemblies are used for direct spark and hot surface ignition to deliver the hottest spark. These electrode assemblies can be custom designed to meet specific OEM direct spark and hot surface ignition system requirements. FKK electrode assemblies for gas ignition systems can incorporate flame sensor rods, spark ignition systems according to requirements. |
Our electrode assemblies are custom fabricated to position the spark gap precisely and meet other design requirements. Further these electrode assemblies can use alumina ceramics or silicon nitride for high voltage and high temperature applications up to 1,500°c and the rods can be made from nickel-chrome, stainless steel, or other specialty metals.
Available with brackets made from copper flash or nickel plated, cold rolled steel in various shapes and sizes, our electrode and flame sensor rods can be supplied with embedded lead wires to virtually any length and spark to plug type connectors and quick-disconnects. Our components can be produced in hundreds to millions of pieces per year, depending upon configuration quantity and OEM requirements.
